The mission at MRDF to ‘Build People’ and ‘Provide Guidance’ is a continuous and dynamic endeavour. The mashayekh are on a perpetual cycle of delivering programmes, online classes, and speaking at events, retreats, as well as Friday khutbahs, all to nurture personal growth and develop one’s iman. Among these impactful initiatives is Shaykh Farid’s "Journey of the Heart," a weekly online class that has become a cornerstone for students seeking profound iman enrichment.
Every Thursday evening, the virtual classroom buzzes with anticipation as students from across the country log in for Shaykh Farid’s much-anticipated class. This enlightening series delves into the profound works of Ibn Al-Qayyim's, 'Madarij As-Salikeen,' guiding participants through the intricate stages of the soul's journey of the heart.
The students are going through a single volume of 288 pages, which is a summary of several books.
There is a lot of effort to summarise the works of Ibn Al-Qayyim to make it easy for the people to understand and make it more accessible.
On average there are about 50 plus student attending weekly engaging in interactive discussions.

Shaykh Farid has been running this class since November 2022, consistently delivering deep insights and strengthening a rich understanding of the topic. His dedication to this endeavor over the past two years has been instrumental in building students' knowledge, and the ability to reflect and ponder from the many discussions.
Alhamdulillah, this class is currently in progress with a few more topics left to cover.
