Shaykh Fuad Abdo delivers Islamic Inheritance Workshop!
In a two-day event held at Masjid Al-Ansar, Shaykh Fuad Abdo delivered an engaging and comprehensive workshop on Islamic Finance, specifically focusing on the topic of Inheritance. Titled 'Inheritance between Theory and Practice,' this workshop attracted around 35 eager students from the Sabeel cohort as well as a few brothers from the local community.
The workshop provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of Islamic inheritance laws, a subject often overlooked in traditional Islamic education. Shaykh Fuad’s teaching style, which encouraged active participation and questions, was particularly well-received. He used examples to elucidate the intricacies of inheritance laws, ensuring that attendees were left with a good grasp of this vital aspect of Islamic Finance.
One of the attendees shared their thoughts on the workshop, stating, "I thought it was an excellent dawrah, and it's one of those subjects that does not get taught a lot. Shaykh Fuad prompted everyone to ask questions; he presented it well and gave really good examples to help get the message across. It's definitely one of those subjects that need to be revised, or you may lose it because of its comprehensiveness. Thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and looking forward to the next course, inshaAllah."
Shaykh Fuad expressed his delight at the overwhelmingly positive response to the workshop. He stated, "The Ta'seel two-day course on Inheritance was a great success, Alhamdulillah. The feedback has been great, and you could really see the enjoyment on the attendees' faces during the two days. There were over 35 students that came, ranging from 15 to 65+. I myself really enjoyed teaching the class, and to see them understand and process what was taught was a joy to watch. People are now looking forward to upcoming courses in Ta'seel."
