MRDF at your local masjid!

A Community Engagement Event!

Last week of June, Shaykh Farid and Shaykh Asim Khan visited a local masjid in Barking. Masjid Al-Noor is home to predominately the East African and Asian communities. MRDF presented a community engagement event speaking about the sacred month of Dhul-Hijjah, touching specifically on the story of Ibrahim عليه السلام and seven lessons from the rights of Hajj.

Alhamdullilah, it was an azaming day with the local community, from enjoying the BBQ in the sun to story time with the mashayekh. We had people of all ages and background learning about the days of Dhul-Hijjah and its importance. Not many people give these days its right and engage in acts of worship which are huge in reward. It was refreshing to see the people engaging and benefiting from the event. The local people got to learn a bit more about MRDF and what it does.

If you would like a day like this to be organised at your local masjid, get in touch with us and we can arrange something inshaallah.
