Supporting earthquake victims
Sabeel held fundraising challenge during Ramadan
After the tragic earthquakes in south Turkey and northern Syria, making it the biggest earthquakes in 84 years that has devastated the region killing over 6,300 people and rising including thousands of children. Casualties could exceed 20,000, as aftershocks, freezing temperatures and damaged roads hamper rescue efforts. This Ramadan the Sabeel students and MRDF team have been engaging in a competitive fundraiser in support of Human Appeal who will be facilitating the distribution of the funds collected.
It was an amazing competition where brothers and sisters worked hard throughout the month raising funds and awareness of the cause. The teams have managed to raise just under £270,000 and donations are still coming in, Alhamdulillah. We ask Allah to accept everyone's donations and the generosity everyone showed during this blessed month of Ramadan. May Allah make it heavy on their scales, purify their wealth and grant barakah in it, and grant everyone the best of both worlds. Ameen.
If anyone would like to continue supporting the cause, you can still donate via the link below while it’s still open:

May Allah accept it from you all.
Barakallahu’feekum.
